This policy explains how Linga Lapa ("we", "us") collects and uses personal information through this website, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

1. Information we collect

When you use a booking, order or contact form, you give us your name, phone number and the details of your request. The forms on this site open WhatsApp with your message ready to send. Nothing is stored on this website.

2. How we use it

• To confirm table bookings, butchery orders and braai night bookings.
• To answer your questions about stock, hours or events.
• To contact you about your booking or order if something changes.

We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

3. WhatsApp and third parties

Messages you send through WhatsApp are handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under their own privacy policy. This site also shows a Facebook video and a Google map, which may set cookies from those providers when they load.

4. How long we keep it

We keep booking and order messages only as long as needed to serve you and meet legal record-keeping duties.

5. Your rights

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
